Cheap Flights to Skiathos, Greece

With its own airport and more than 60 fine beaches, Skiathos is the most popular of the Sporades Island group and each year attracts thousands of tourists to its busy coastline. Cheap Flights to Cagliari, Sardinia

Cheap Flights to Cagliari

Cagliari is Sardinia’s capital and biggest town, with a busy industrial port. Despite its size the old centre is charmingly compact, contained within the city walls and Pisan fortifications. The main attractions are the National Archaeological Museum, which contains prehistoric tombs and other significant artefacts from the Punic and Roman periods, the impressive cathedral, and a smattering of Roman ruins.

The suburb of Poetto has a four-mile (6km) stretch of sandy beach with some small bars nearby. The famous nuraghe of Su Nuraxi near Barumini are within easy reach of the town.

According to some reports, a full half of cosmetics purchases take place at duty-free stores. With billions of dollars flowing into this industry each year, it’s no wonder that it has its own website, dedicated to the goings-on in the duty free world.

For those that are curious about what’s going on at a duty-free shop near them, check out the Moodie Report.

Latest Restrictions on U.S. Bound Flights

The rules keep getting modified, but it’s still a struggle for passengers traveling between the UK and the US.

Among the latest updates:
Carry-on luggage is ALLOWED, however, the dimensions have changed. Your carry-on cannot exceed a height of 45 cm, width of 35cm and depth of 16 cm (approximately 17.7″x13.7″x6.2″). All wheels, straps, handles, etc. must be included in these measurements. This is about the size of a full laptop bag, and is at least a 25% reduction in size…if not more, thanks to the strict imposing of size limits.

Carry-ons can include electonics like digital cameras, mobile phones, laptops, …

Cheap Flights to Romania

Cheap Flights to Romania

Romania is slowly emerging from the effects of being one of the most repressed countries under communism and having suffered the megalomaniac dictatorship of Nicolae Ceausescu whose rule left the country in the depths of poverty. Travel in Romania is rewarding yet habitually challenging as much of its charisma lies in the more remote regions, and optimistic plans are often frustratingly slowed down by practical realities. Despite this, Romania is rapidly regaining its identity as a popular tourist destination and has plenty to offer the international traveller.
