70% off flights? I’m in!
Here’s an offer that must be too good to be true, but still it must have some basis in truth because it’s on the internet: Save up to 70% of flights with Airline Network
The fine people at netflights.com are offering cheap flights around the world at discounts up to 70%, although something tells me that only certain flights are at that steep discount. They are showing some excellent deals though, including Los Angeles from £345 or New York City from £280. The US dollar is still quite weak, so once you get there hotels and food are quite cheap for us.
Special offers from Air France look intriguing
People have criticized me frequently for writing about Air France deals so often, but I’m going to mention them every time I see that they have great deals for us: Air France special offers
This one looks quite mysterious on the surface, but once you click the link in the post you’ll see that Air France has a bunch of good deals, and some very special ones that end at the end of May, so don’t waste too much time. Here’s one going from London to Delhi for £336 return, but you have to book this soon. This can be a really cheap trip because costs are low once you get there.
British Airways has arranged for some free hotel nights
I’m not sure how British Airways can get these deals, but they seem to be legit and probably worth checking out: Special Offer hotels from British Airways Holidays
With these deals you can pay for 2 or 3 nights at a nice hotel, and then get a free night included. Amazingly enough, many of the hotels seem to be quite reasonably priced to begin with, so getting a free night makes a good deal even better.
Speaking of nice hotels, there are some nice hotels …
Beach holidays not enough for you? Neilson has you covered
I’m not sure exactly what this even means, but these deals are worth checking out anyway: “Neilson Beachplus Holidays”"
Beachplus holidays sound really fun, regardless of what the actual definition is. My guess is that these would be trips where you go to a beach, but then there are other things involved that are off the beach. That last part would be the plus, I suppose. Either way, once you get to the Neilson site you’ll be sucked in just like the rest of us.
Flybe to the moon, or at least around Europe
You certainly know that Flybe is one of the cheapest airlines in this part of the world, and some of their prices are shockingly low: Fly Flybe from only £18.99! The Flybe 8.5M Seat New Years Sale now on!
Here’s a deal from Southampton to Paris for under £30. How does Flybe do it? From Cardiff you can fly to Paris for under £35! I’ve never flown Flybe, but prices this low make me wonder if this is some kind of alien-run human reprogramming experiment where people are lured by cheap flights and then end up on an operating table on a spacecraft for the week instead. They could potentially implant a chip like in Total Recall so the travelers think they were in Paris for the whole week even though they never made it.
The May bank holiday should be fun and cheap for us now
The upcoming bank holiday late in May should provide nearly perfect weather for a fun break, and Thomas Cook is helping out as well by offering packages starting at only £129: Flight and Hotel breaks starting from £129 only at thomascook.com
I know that Thomas Cook isn’t the first place you think of when you are looking for the cheapest possible city break, but their size does give them bargaining power and they do have some really good bargains mixed in their offerings. You can go to Dublin or Amsterdam for a pretty modest price, and several other more remote cities for just a bit more.
Air France has flights starting at £40
According to this amazing offer, Air France has flights starting at £40, although I don’t think it’s quite that simple: Air France presents you with its fares from £40 offering you great flexibility on direct flights.
I’m actually a big fan of Air France, particularly for their long haul flights, because the food and wine they serve is some of the finest in the air. This deal seems to be mostly about 11 destinations from London that have return fares starting at £89 including all taxes. That’s a pretty good deal, but it’s mysteriously 9 quid more than the price would be if those were one-way fares they were advertising with this special.
This deal sounds too amazing, but it’s still worth checking out
Can we really save up to 70% on the Airline Network? That sounds like a pretty huge discount as summer is approaching, but it’s still something worth looking into: Save up to 70% of flights with Airline Network
This really seems ideal for those of us who are looking for a cheap holiday this summer. There are many ways of finding cheap tickets on the internet, but not many places that offer 70% off this time of the year. I have a feeling that number is the steepest discount on any ticket at any time of the year, so as long as they include the words “up to” they are okay.
