Ryanair launches British Airways rescue fares

One airline’s problem is another airline’s opportunity to help passengers. In order to help tourists avoid British Airways strike this weekend, Ryanair launches rescue fares on over 400 routes to/from the UK.

Please note that passengers should have their British Airways booking reference to avail of this fare. The booking period is between Thu March 18 and Mon March 22, 2010 and the travel period is on March 20, 21 and 22 only.

Some of the routes included in the offer are:

  • London Stansted to Berlin, Bologna, Faro, Frankfurt, Madrid, Malaga, Oslo, Pisa, Turin, Venice, Rome, Milan
  • London Gatwick to Barcelona, Madrid, Stockholm
  • London Luton to Barcelona

Also, to make sure passengers’ Easter plans won’t change, Ryanair launched a rescue fare of £69.99 (one way including taxes and charges) for BA passengers whose travel plans have been disrupted by the BA strike.
