A Crete Retreat that is Pretty Neat
History takes on a whole different meaning on the Greek island of Crete. The place was at the center of the Minoan civilization, the oldest civilization in Europe, which lasted from approximately 2600-1400 BC. While the island has all the modern amenities that you would expect from a popular tourist destination these days, you can’t escape history on Crete.
