You can stay in Valmeinier resort, in a 4-persons studio for €258 per week. Each studio has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, phone, TV, vacuum cleaner, bed linen and towels. The price is valid from 27/03/2010 to 03/04/2010.

The ski area in Valmeinier – Valloire (Galibier – Thabor) comprises 150 km of ski runs, 4 sides and more than 400 snow cannons. There are 2 gondolas, 17 chairlifts and14 skilifts. The ski area comprises a total of 85 runs. The nearest train station in St Michel de Maurienne/Valloire and there are several large airports near-by: Airport of Grenoble, Airport of Lyon St Exupéry and Airport of Genève (CH).

Austria is a cheap destination

Soll ski resort in Austria is not only a very beautiful location, but also an affordable place to spend a fun ski vacation with the family or friends. Seven nights, with bed & breakfast, and round trip flight from London costs £344 per person. The village center is only 5 minutes away and the ski bus stop is near-by.

Soll ski resort is part of the Ski-Welt ski area and comprises almost 100 ski lifts and offers ski runs for all levels, but focusing on intermediate and beginner runs. In total there are 73 restaurants throughout the Ski-Welt circuit. The main gateways into Soll are Innsbruck and Salzburg.

Other areas in Austria rank high as some of the most affordable ski resorts in Europe , but there are also places where you can stretch the money quite far and enjoy excellent skiing. Slovakia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania and Poland offer nice places to ski and many travelers don’t even know about their existence. Remember to book the airfare as well. Choose a large airport located close to the ski area in the country of destination, or opt for the ground transportation options. If you are not used to driving in winter conditions, it is better not to do it though.
