Super Affordable Northern Alps Ski Accommodations
Hurling yourself down a mountain while strapped to wooden planks is one way to spend your holiday and plenty of people certainly do. As simple as skiing is, it is also one expensive sport. Between the equipment, lift passes and bottomless cups of Irish Coffee at the lodge, a ski vacation can set you back quite a few quid, especially if you are finicky about where you stay.
It doesn’t have to be that way with an ever growing number of resorts catering to the more budget conscious ski crowd. One very useful site I have discovered is Ski Horizon, which offers up very reasonable accommodations in ski villages throughout Europe. In addition to all-inclusive packages, the site has a tasty list of discount accommodation fare that looks to be quite attractive for the price you pay. For example, you can get a 7-night stay in Les Trois Vallees in the Northern Alps for just 186-Euros. The little villa – and make no bones about it the villa is small – is just 300 m from the slopes, 100 m from shops and 3km from the resort centre so basically you can use it as a place to crash at night .
