Air France has some really good deals at the moment

I’ll even save you the trouble of clicking on the link and reveal that their best price for a return flight from London City is to Geneva and it’s £97 including all taxes and fees. You can go to Eindhoven or Zurich or Dublin for only a little more, which makes these some of the better deals I’m seeing on the Internet these days. This is a tough travel year for those of us who like to focus on cheap breaks, because nothing is terribly cheap at the moment and things might get worse before they get better.
Everyone is looking for cheap airline tickets and there just aren’t any out there, at least not compared to what we are used to in previous years. You can still get good deals on hotels in Italy right now because half the country is just starting their own holiday, but of course this means you have to head to the cities while the locals all head to the beaches. Some people joke that Italy would be great if not for all the Italians, but I’m rather fond of them so I don’t even think that’s funny.
