It’s nice that they are able to offer any kind of deals at all at a time like this. These free hotel nights are a pretty sweet deal, and it means you can probably stay in a 3 or 4-star hotel for about the same price as a 1 or 2-star place when you factor in the free nights. In many cases you get a 3rd or 4th night free, and in some cases you get 2 nights free if you book 6 nights, which is obviously like 33% off.
These kinds of deals are especially nice because nobody wants to have to live like a poor person on their main summer holiday. Finding a cheap hotel is often not too difficult, but finding a cheap hotel that’s nice usually is. If you can stay in a great place for 25 or 33% off, you are already way ahead of the game. Of course, you could always buy tickets to India and then go out in the rural areas where hotels can be found for under £1 per night, but that means always dodging cows in the road, and also dodging cow droppings too. How much is your dignity worth? Probably better not answer that, actually, as I really quite like India when I’m being honest.
