Culture holidays can be surprisingly cheap

Right now I’m looking at their trips to Morocco, and seeing all the really interesting activities I can book along with my flight and hotel. They have hikes into the Atlas Mountains, and even a helicopter flight over Marrakech. The other great thing about these trips is they tend to be to affordable places, so you can use the same holiday budget but get far more for your dosh.
You could spend the same money on the same type of trip you always take, which means you’ll be staying in one of the rowdy Amsterdam hostels or one of the antique-like hostels in Italy, but where’s the excitement in that? I’ve recently heard that the souks of Marrakech are one of the top shopping destinations in the world, so could you imagine flying over it in a helicopter? “Take me down there, pilot, I want to haggle for that brass hookah pipe!”
