Golf Vacation Rental Homes in Europe

bad-golf.jpgIt was Mark Twain who famously wrote that golf is a good walk spoiled. While Twain never laid eyes on me hitting an eight-iron, he surely knew what he was talking about. A more frustrating endeavor than knocking around a little white ball you won’t find in this world. It can also be marvelous or so I have been told.

The thing I enjoy the most about golf is that it is usually played outdoors (unless you go to one of those funky indoor driving ranges in Japan) and that it is usually played in decent weather (unless you try knocking it around in Scotland just about any time of the year).

If you are a golf addict or are one of those unfortunate spouses who is married to one, combining the love of your sport with the love of travel is fairly easy, especially this time of year. Warm weather locales are eager to attract your tourist money with promises of lush fairways and scenic courses. Finding a good place to stay whil you are on your golf holiday can prove to be a bit more of a challenge, but with the aid of Euro Relais you should be able to track down a comfortable holiday home that will make you forget about that slice you had on the 14th hole.

Golf holidays: Comfortable holiday homes (3 stars or more) in the vicinity of or bordering on a golf course. Euro Relais offers special holiday homes all over Europe.
