Every time I am fortunate enough to get away on holiday I think about how lucky that I am to be in a position where I can travel the world and make new discoveries. As more and more of us set out on journeys to place both near and far, it is always important to remember that there is a large portion of the world’s population that will never have the opportunity to travel more than a few kilometers from where they were born.
The fact remains that the world is both a wonderful and cruel place for its inhabitants.
