Inexpensive Turkey Holidays

A holiday in Turkey can be just about anything you want it to be. If you want to lounge on a beach and not take your face out of the sun for a week there is no shortage of awesome beaches to choose from. If you are interested in ancient history there is no shortage of historic sites to visit. If you enjoy trying new foods there is no shortage of restaurants that are nothing short of excellent. If you like to shop there are outstanding locally produced crafts to choose from.
Indeed, perhaps the most difficult thing about traveling to Turkey is choosing how you will spend your time. In a country that is so big and offers such a diverse array of tantalizing options, choosing what to do can be difficult.
One option is to choose a resort town on the Aegean as your base of operations. The city of Kusadasi is a good choice. Not only is it well known for its beaches and water, but it near the ancient city of Ephesus, 90 km south of İzmir and a short distance across from the island of Samos. Its location makes it possible to both enjoy a holiday in the sun and to take in the historic sights.
