They’ve got flights to New York City for £279 return, and flights to Florida for only a bit more. While the Pound Sterling isn’t quite as strong as it was a couple months ago, it still goes a long way, especially in Florida. Netflights also offers 10% off on Florida car hire, but that’s not even a big deal since prices for cars there are unbelievably low already.
But for shopping trips, especially as Christmas approaches, you are better off going to New York City. If you book early enough you can find some cheap Manhattan hotels for prices starting around £60 per night, although the nicer ones start around £100 and up. The one trick about finding bargains at NYC hotels is booking early is critical. In some places you’ll find hotels that drop their prices as the dates near, but in New York the price usually starts where it does, and then keeps going up from there.
