According to the Travel Industry Association (TIA), more travelers are taking technology with them than ever before.
The must-have cell phones topped the list at 86% – even higher than the memory-preserving digital cameras at 67%.
Almost a fourth lug around their laptops, and a fifth say they bring some tunes in the form of a CD player.
A surprising (to us) stat – 11% snag their MP3 or iPod players…although we’d venture that it’s a lot higher with younger travelers.
