The Knee Defender: Protect Your Turf on the Airplane
Other than perhaps a bad wax job in the nether regions, there is little in this world worse than having the person in front of you on an airplane recline his seat all the way back into your lap. This is especially true if you are part of the 99% of the world’s population with legs that are too long for today’s modern, super cramped cattle herd-like airplanes. There is a device out there that can help prevent this and it could very well turn into your best friend while on the road: the Knee Defender.
Designed to limit the reclining ability of the person sitting in front of you, this device in theory will save you from pain on the airplane. The only thing I see wrong with it is if you use it and the person in front of you gets pissed about having to sit upright. I pictures fisticuffs and other misadventures breaking out over a few precious inches of legroom. It has happened before over the use of armrests so I can’t see how this thing won’t lead to stewardesses using tasers to subdue brawling passengers. How fun!
