Fall in Love with Interlaken, Switzerland
If you aren’t captivated by the beauty and charm of the Interlaken region of Switzerland than you either don’t have a pulse or you are one of those serial killers living in your parent’s basement waiting to find your next victim. Interlaken is one of a handful of places in this universe that will take your breath away on first sight and it will fill your heart with a love normally reserved for a good piece of chocolate. The mountains that surround Interlaken are simply gorgeous. The lakes that give the area its name are so pristine and clear that you will think they are fake. The town where it all happens is as quaint and as welcoming as they come. In short, get yourself to Interlaken as soon as heavenly possible.
The one major drawback about Interlaken is that it is Expensive with a capital “E” so you’ll want to do your best to save money getting and staying there. Expedia to the rescue! They have some awesome package deals on flights and stays in Interlaken in March. What a great time to go there! You’ll be able to ski, shop and enjoy some sunshine while not having to worry about other tourists and serial killers.
