Major Savings on Flights to Madrid

spice.jpgNow that the word is official that the character known as David Beckham will no longer be playing in Spain after this summer you can safely travel to Madrid without having to worry about running into a Spice Girl in the airport. What a relief! Some people fear flying, I fear the Spice Girls. My therapist loves me.

One thing none of us has to fear is trip to the city that Beckham shall no longer call home. Why anyone would want to give up the vitality and energy of Madrid is beyond me. Try finding a good place that serves sangria at four in the morning in LA. Try getting some decent paella in Hollywood. Try finding a museum as cool as the Prado in California. Try finding a Spanish speaker in Los Angeles.

Ok, Beckham won’t have any problems with that last one, but the fact is that Madrid is as energetic and as fun of a city as you will find in this world. Its residents live by a different clock with life beginning late at night and a midday siesta a near necessity.

Now is a great time to fly to Madrid and you don’t even need a $250 million football contract to do so. OneTravel has tickets from London to Madrid for as low as £70 return trip.
