I’ve had a fascination with Bhutan for a long time now. Nestled in the Himalayas, the tiny kingdom first caught my attention when I learned that it was the last country on this planet to have television. You have to respect people who don’t spend their lives watching the telly. You also have to respect the sheer beauty of the country. With unrivaled mountain views, Bhutan is heaven on earth.
It is also a place that doesn’t see too many travelers and the Bhutanese kind of like it that way.
