Wizz Air is a Hungarian low-cost airline, headquartered close to Budapest’s Ferihegy Airport, Hungary. It typically uses secondary airports serving major cities in Europe. Their aim is to make flying affordable for the members of the European Union.
Wizz Air has bases in Bucharest, Cluj, Katowice (largest base), Kiev, Prague, Warsaw, Timisoara and Sofia, among others. It serves a total of 58 destinations, and offers plenty of low-cost connections to Eastern European countries such as Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine. It offers over 150 flights to large cities all over Europe. Wizz Air group includes three operating airlines: Wizz Air Hungary, Wizz Air Bulgaria and Wizz Air Ukraine.
