We’re not the biggest and we did not plan for it to be. We prefer cosy, friendly and fun.
We gutted the ideal turn of the century building, re-built the interior to be the ultimate backpackers' hostel in sunny Singapore while retaining the touch of Dutch & Portuguese architectural influence.
The perfect location to explore Singapore from, we're at the start of bustling historic Little India conservation district, straddling the shopping/party belt of Orchard Road, Suntec City and the Civic District. Most of the amenities and attractions are within sight from the road we're on.
Privacy in a multi-bedded dorm unheard of? Not anymore. You'd have to see it to know. It's a stroke of genius, according to those who have stayed here. Whether you walk or crawl, we guarantee you a wide and clear path to your bed. Dedicated space for securing your backpacks in the dorms so you don't trip and won't be bugged by the rustle of plastic bags or the un-zipping of bags when you're crashing, and you crash in style and air-conditioned comfort with proper cotton bed linen and orthopaedic mattresses.
We offer country club style showers and toilets. Also, you can worship the sun from our sundeck, or take a respite from our tropical weather with our roof top showers. Breakfast is thrown-in in our fully equipped stainless steel and maple kitchen. Shoot on our competition standard pool table, kick up a storm with foosball or snuggle up with a leaf from the largest collection of up-to-date travel guides to rival a library.
Others have tried, but again, we set the standards. Like our original pad, this has got to be a place we want to stay in and not leave if we were travelling ourselves. So, discounting the fact that we are not travelling, we've made this our home.
