5 Rama Nine 54 Hotel – Book your bed
5 Rama-nine 54 is a small hostel on the east rim of Bangkok, close to several campus. It is an ideal alternative for those who want to experience local ways of living at really inexpensive cost!
This place is very simple. Self-service in most parts. The staff are mostly local students, and speak some English. You can also learn Thai language from them at no cost and get to know them and their friends.
Rooms are clean and simple no fancy decorations! One room is shared by two of the same sex. Different sex can be in one same room if traveling together. One who wants privacy can have a room of his/her own by reserving two beds. Linen and towel is provided (100 Baht deposit per person and get money back when returning them), as is free clean drinking water and a roll of toilet paper. For when it is too warm, there is a fan in every room and you can have free use of the washing machine.
Some of the other services you will be able to use include a microwave for you to warm food, inexpensive luggage storage, common room open till midnight, while the staff can give you good travel advice.
The hostel is located close to many attractions, as well as the train station to Cambodia, Ayudhaya ancient city, Lopburi the monkey town and the famous Pattaya !
