Chiang Dao Nest 2 – Book your bed
Chiang Dao Nest 2 for amazing views, food, and experiences, under Thai / British Management, namely Wicha and Stuart, with help/ hindrance from our 3 year old son Joseph!
Chiang Dao Nest 2 is next to a quite stunning wall of mountain. There are breathtaking mountain views all 'round. It is situated in a peaceful location surrounded by largely unspoilt nature.
We have five ' bungalows ' (we'd prefer to call them chalets or huts but it seems in this part of the world everyone understands them as bungalows). The bungalows are of brick construction, making them safe and secure. The exteriors have been stylised to blend with the surroundings, using bamboo and grass. The rooms are clean and comfortably furnished and all have attached toilet and shower.
Chiang Dao Nest 2 has a restaurant / bar which serves good quality Thai, and a few Western Dishes (Cooking training of our staff is carried out by Wicha who herself is a trained and qualified chef. ) (For exceptionally high quality Western Food the original Chiang Dao Nest is within walking distance).
Chiang Dao Nest 2 is situated within close walking distance of the famous Chiang Dao Cave. There are other enjoyable walks in the area, and mountain bikes are available for rent to explore further.
Chiang Dao, literally translated 'the City of Stars', is a small town just over an hour North of Chiang Mai. It has all the elements for which North Thailand is famous. A large hugely impressive mountain, Doi Chiang Dao, many different ethnic groups in the area, known collectively as 'hilltribes', elephant centres, rivers, unspoilt forests, abundant nature, opportunities for adveture, some fantastic scenery and most importantly some wonderful people.
Chiang Dao Nest offers an extensive program of activities, tours and treks from half a day, to three days, including hilltribes, demanding mountain/ nature hikes , elephant rides , bamboo rafting, whitewater rafting and more. We are officially registered with the Tourist Authority of Thailand.
We are also able to make arrangements for peoples entire North Thailand trip.

Each bungalow sleeps two people, even though the booking system here may indicate otherwise. Our room prices are the same if there is 1 or 2 people staying. (maximum of 2 people in one room)
To clear up any confusion ...
Double Bed Private Ensuite - have one large double bed which can sleep 2 people and private attached toilet and hot shower. 645 Baht per room per night including BIG breakfast. (One of our Double Bed Private Ensuites currently has cold water shower and is 595 Baht per night including BIG breakfast.)
Twin Private Ensuite - has two single beds which can sleep 1 person in each bed, and private attached toilet and cold shower. 595 Baht per room per night including BIG breakfast.
A BIG Breakfast is included in the rates and there are no additional charges.

Unlimited Tea (we have Twininings English/ Earl Grey / Green Tea / Herbal Teas)
- or Fresh Arabica Coffee (grown locally by hilltribe people)

Chiang Dao Nest 2 attracts a wide variety of people, some on short holidays, some undertaking lengthy travels, some who live and work in Chiang Mai / Thailand and want to escape for a night or two.
Some are looking to do lots of activities while they are here, others completely the opposite, wanting nothing more than to chill out read a book and drink some beer!
