Central Blue Mountains Backpackers – Book your bed
This is the newest and most central hostel in Katoomba, only 100m walk from the railway station and right by entrance road into Katoomba.
Opening in October 2004, it is a very spacious and clean hostel with grand lounge and dining area, situated around log fires. You can choose from double, twin or triple rooms along with dorms. Building is centrally heated, so it is very warm and cosy in winter. We have probably the best kitchen of any hostel in NSW, with ample fridge and storage space.
Bedrooms are clean and comfortable with duvets during winter months and the private rooms all have their own TV's and coffee/tea making facilities.
There is plenty to do at our hostel. We have a pool-table, table-soccer, board games while you can simply relax on one of our comfortable sofas. Books, DVDs, and videos are all available from reception.
On warm summer days we have tables and chairs, BBQ, and a shady, covered area. We also have a drying area for wet clothing and coats etc. Coin operated laundry and washing machines available for guest use as well as an ironing board (sorry MUM not included!).
Plenty of information and suggested walking treks available, from our information boards, we can also book day trips Jenolan cave tours and mountain adventure activities for you.
We can cater for group bookings.
