Namaste Beach House Old Bar – Book your bed
Old Bar Beach is a unique country town located at the southern mouth of the Manning River on long isolated white sandy beaches. Surrounded by state forest and nature reserves, it has special significance for the local Aboriginal community (Biripi) and offers picnic areas, safe swimming and bushwalking. It contains Aboriginal sites which relate to Dreamtime beliefs.
Newly renovated in May 2004, Namaste Beach House has a wonderful new feel. It is clean and comfortable accommodation with great facilities such as Meditation/Yoga room, an extensive library and much more.
Being such a beautiful heritage building, the original wide style verandas are a great place to relax in the cool ocean breezes while reading a magazine and sipping a glass of wine.
When it comes to eating you have the choice of cooking here in the hostel and if not there are loads of local restaurants and take away outlets to eat in.
Other qualities of the Old Bar country town are local Aboriginal landmarks and cultural tours with incredible scenic locations, surfing on sand bottom and also point breaks while you can partake in various activities such as horse riding or tennis.
