Beaches Backpacker Resort – Book your bed
The Hervey Bay Resort is located in the seaside coastal town of Hervey Bay, some 310 kms north of Brisbane. The resort offers guests a home away from home environment.
The resorts offers 120 bed accommodation, ranging from shared, twin or double rooms.
Guests have the use of an extensive outdoor area with inground pool, BBQ facilities and a games area. Transport is provided to the the transit area or the local shops and for those travelling by car lock up parking facilities ensure security.
The Bar, Bistro and dining area provide a venue for parties each night and a focal point for guests to enjoy themselves.
Visitors at the resort can visit World Heritage listed Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world. Guest can take a self drive 4 wheel drive vehicle over to the island and camp for 3 days or simply enjoy day trips to the island.
Hervey Bay is the centre of whale watching in Queensland. From August to October each year Humpback whales visit the calm waters of Hervey Bay with their calves on their journey back to the Antarctic. Visitors can view these magnificent creatures from any of the tours operating out of Hervey Bay.
