After a short drive from the door you're free to start exploring the city - Sullivan's Cove and the small boat docks, Salamanca Place, galleries, museums are all only a ten minute drive away. Drive another 15 minutes and you're at the top of Mount Wellington and looking up the Derwent valley, across the river to the hills and bays of the south east, and down the river to the ocean. A very central location from which to base your explorations of Southern Tasmania.
