The Globe Backpackers is a friendly hostel offering a funky, relaxed and social environment. We are located in Kings Cross, an extremely popular area with both travellers and locals.
Kings Cross is a very lively place with an amazing variety of buzzing bars, cafes and exciting nightlife. Just a short walk will find you in the city centre at the Opera House, Botanical Gardens or Circular Quay. Great beaches and many other attractions are also within easy reach.
Facilities include a fully equipped kitchen with FREE breakfast, guest laundry, guest telephone & messaging service, safety-deposit box, massive wide-screen TV, 5 common areas including open-air courtyard & BBQ, FREE movie & popcorn nights, FREE ice-cream & FREE internet access. Our fun & friendly staff are able to assist you in finding employment or help you to explore Sydney and beyond. The Globe offers a very social environment with many regular in-house activities.
If you arriving at the airport simply call us for an airport pickup. Coming to Sydney by bus or train? Catch the train from platform 24 at Central Station & get off at Kings Cross Station, from which we are just a 100m walk, opposite McDonald's on Darlinghurst Road.
