Centro Del Mundo – Book your bed
We are centrally located in the valley are four hills. On the middle one stands a huge, wooden temple: the Centro Del Mundo. Look upon it as a hotel like no other - a platform in the form of a double flower circle. No windows. No doors. No locks. The living areas are separated, Japanese-style, by means of movable walls. This openness means our guests are as close to their surroundings as they possibly can be. The bathroom is our version of an African hamman, fed by pure spring water.
The Centro Del Mundo is suitable for youth groups, for holding meetings, concerts and other such gatherings.
The three adjoining hills are equipped with cabanas: tropical chalets. With a view across the whole of San Andres valley and the Pacific Ocean, it is not hard to imagine you are on the roof of the world. The Centro Del Mundo and the cabanas offer everything you need for a backpacking to basics holiday. Together they can accommodate some 30 people and a couple of horses. So there's more than enough room.
Covered sleeping area or tent? The choice is yours. There is running water and there are washing facilities but no electricity. What did you expect? Candles provide light and atmosphere. And there is enough wood for a tribal campfire, alias BBQ.
