HI-Kamloops – Book your bed
Located halfway between the Rocky Mountains and Vancouver, Kamloops is surrounded by whispering pines and arid scrubland. During the summer travellers can hike, fish, mountain bike and swim. Come winter nearby Sunpeaks resort offers skiing and snowboarding.
The HI-Kamloops hostel is an attraction all its own. Built in 1904 as a courthouse, the hostel retains much of its old character. Guests can dine in the main courtroom with its original prisoner's box and judges bench or take a shower in the old jail cells!
