HI-Edmonton – Book your bed
This is a great urban hostel located where the fun is in Edmonton’s historic Old Strathcona neighbourhood.
We’re just off Whyte Avenue, the coolest strip for shopping, pubbing and clubbing. It is near the University of Alberta and across the river from the downtown core.
Everything you need is within walking distance with the infamous West Edmonton Mall a quick bus ride away.

Attention international guests: To use hostels you should be a member of a national Youth Hostel Association recognized by the International Youth Hostel Federation.
If you are not a member, you are required to either
- purchase a Welcome Stamp (one per night up to a maximum of six) when you arrive at the hostel, or
- purchase a membership from the nearest Youth Hostel Association Office before you start your journey
Canadian guests can either purchase a membership or pay a non-member rate.
