In 2001, the historic Ivanhoe Hotel changed ownership and was transformed into the new CENTRAL STATION HOSTEL.
Built near the century-old Victorian landmark - the Vancouver Railway Station - the Central Station Hostel is ideally located, close to several exciting points of interest for tourists. And as the name implies, it is "centrally" located, with convenient access to the Amtrak train station, Greyhound bus depot, as well as Vancouver's Skytrain. Access to the public transit system is guaranteed, making any Vancouver destination accessible to you.
Each of the 104 rooms of the Central Station Hostel has a sink, refrigerator and cable television. The rooms are newly renovated, including new furniture; they are spacious, bright and sunny, with views overlooking False Creek, Thornton Park, and the North Shore Mountains.
The hostel is ideal for individual travelers as well as groups.
