HI-Vancouver Central – Book your bed
Smack dab in the middle of Granville Street's entertainment district, we're Vancouver's newest hostel -- and if you're angling for access to all the partying and good times you could want, without compromising on security, comfort, and cleanliness, then you have just found what you're looking for!
Our in-the-thick-of-it location makes for the perfect home base while you explore Vancouver. We've got awesome daily tours that'll have you hanging out with travellers from all over the world while you teeter across the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge or kayak your way around English Bay.
Did we mention we've got a bar on site, too? Well, we do, and it's got the greatest drink specials around -- that's the reason why it's so popular with travellers and locals alike. Like live music? The bar's got it. Bands from all over the world come to perform, and only our guests get in for free (okay we can't absolutely always get you in for free 'cause some of these bands are bit sticky about it, but we always do what we can!)
We know you care about security, too, and that's why you'll find your own personal backpack-sized locker in your dorm. We've travelled too, and we know that when you don't have to worry about your stuff, you can really start enjoying yourself.
It may sound a bit odd, but can we say a few words about our bathrooms? No cavernous, dingy bathrooms with group shower blocks, here -- just lots of privacy in our many spotless, individual-use bathrooms. Isn't it nice not to have to share sometimes? You'll even find a few claw-foot tubs for those of you who are up for a bit of a soak.
After a long day, you want a comfortable bed. Ever slept at a hostel where the mattress felt like a couple of plastic-wrapped, lumpy, old cushions? Well we have, and that’s why we wouldn’t settle for anything but the best, here. Our bunk mattresses are first-rate –- thick and comfy. Oh, and all the linen is free.
So that's our story: fun, secure, comfortable, clean, and can we just put in one more plug for the drink specials at the bar?

Rates quoted are for members of Hostelling International (IYHF). Non-members will be charged an additional $4 per night on arrival.
