Portsmouth Beach Hotel is located on a golden sand beach on the north-west coast of Dominica, just half a mile from Portsmouth. The hotel's 170 rooms are situated in a tropical garden each with a private bathroom, veranda, telephone, air conditioning, hot plate and refrigerator.
Guests may dine in the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of Le Flambeau Restaurant at Beach Front. Our well-stocked bar and lounge which is 7:00am to 10:30pm serves a variety of tropical delights to suit your tastes.
The hotel is an informal and relaxing place to enjoy the sand, sea, sun and swimming pool and for an exciting contrast, we offer bird-watching, hikes and safari tours across Dominica to the mountains, waterfalls, lakes tropical rainforest and more!
There is a coral reef directly north of our jetty, which is excellent for snorkelling and Cabrits National Park and the Historic Ruins of Fort Shirley are also nearby.
