River Valley Lodge is located at the foot of the majestic Ruahine Ranges, 30km East of Taihape. It is situated amidst towering cliffs and stunning scenery, with the Rangitikei River literally at the front door. River Valley is relaxed - there is a feeling of isolation, remoteness and harmony.
The lodge has a range of accommodation options including tramping hut style dorms, smaller bunkrooms, family rooms, and double rooms. The riverside camping area is also a perfect spot to pitch a tent. Accommodation prices range from $10 to $25.
