Welcome to Kaha Cottage
Kaha Cottage is a family friendly re-decorated Rustic Country Theme 'studio cottage'. Sleeps 6, (x 1 Double Bed, x 2 sets solid wood adult bunks), colour T.V., radio, table and chairs, couch, heater and hot spa pool.
Kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave, bench top oven, fry pan, toaster and kitchen equipment. The cottage has its' own bathroom with shower, toilet and basin, a verandah off the cottage with table and seating as well as B.B.Q. area. The cottage is cozy, warm and clean.
Duvets, pillows, extra blankets, tea towels, bathmat, bathroom hand towels, tea, coffee and sugar are all supplied.
BYO towels and linen/sleeping bags and personals OR hire for $10/person for entire stay.
The cottage is adjacent to our home, very private, in rural garden setting with views of Mt Ruapehu and Taranaki. Guests have own wagon garden entrance and off-street parking. The property is on 1 1/2 acres with spectacular views of the mountains and fresh mountain air'. An ideal base for snow-skiing/boarding, sight-seeing, bushwalks or perhaps a retreat from the city all year round.
Our fenced play area is ideal for families and offers: Childrens' picnic table and chairs, sandpit, slide, sea-saw swings, secret garden and trampoline. "Strawberry" our very large pig loves guests to feed her.
Raylene is a qualified Nanny and if she is not available, a baby-sitter can be arranged, but notice is necessary.
There is horse-trekking within walking distance from the cottage also.
