Skyway Lodge – Book your bed
Note ***PLease only book this property if you are arriving before 9.30pm on any evening***
We know you will feel tired when you step off the plane and we will make it as painless for you as we can. Just call us from the freephone at the terminal and we will come and pick you up.
Our lodge offers clean, comfortable accommodation with no frills which enables us to offer the cheapest rates for accomodation near the airport.
On your arrival in New Zealand we can help you with planning your route, hiring a car or campervan – we know all the best deals.
We have good facilities and plenty of space, for you to equip your vehicle before you get on the road.
In the summer you can relax by the swimming pool. If you are here in winter you can watch T.V. by our cozy log fire.
We have a very large, fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your own meals or, just five minutes walk away, there are takeaways, restaurants and shops.
We do a very reasonably priced breakfast if required, of cereal and toast for $4.
Don’t forget to spend your last night with us before you fly out. We operate a courtesy bus to the airport on the hour from 6a.m. to 10a.m. (Check out time)
You can get a bus into the city for 4.20 single or $8 return, right outside our door.

The rooms in our lodge are single, double, twin and dormitory rooms all with shared bathroom facilities (we only have 10 rooms). We also have two double rooms with double bed and en-suite bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities.
None of the rooms have telephone or TV - there is a communal TV lounge.
ALL ROOMS NON SMOKING !
FOR FAMILIES - We have self-contained units with separate lounge with TV, large kitchen with oven and microwave and full set of crockery and utensils. The bathroom has shower and deep bath to relax in. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge, which can be used if required. The units can sleep up to 6 people – very good value for money
UNITED AIRLINES EXPLORER BUS
For those with only a short time in Auckland, we recommend the Explorer Bus, which will pick you up from our lodge at 9 a.m. and take you to Auckland. The bus visits 14 attractions in the City and you can hop on and off the bus as you want all day. You will be brought back here at 4 p.m. This is very good value at $25.
We can book you a seat on the bus when you arrive here.
5 mins from Auckland International Airport with courtesy transport provided (not 24hrs). A small homely lodge with a range of budget priced accommodation. Perfect for those early flights or those in transit.
