The Oceanic Hostel – Book your bed
The Oceanic is the newest hostel in the Auckland CBD. We have a quiet friendly environment with a mixture of NZ and overseas travellers and students all keen to mingle and get to know each other.
All rooms are fully furnished with single or double beds, or bunks, wardrobes desks and chairs. All linen and towels are provided.
The majority of our rooms are single or twin share only with a few rooms that will take 3 or 4 beds.
Our spacious main lounge has Sky TV as well as the main kitchen which has several cooking stations and ample food storage areas. All rooms are allocated fridge space in either the main kitchen or one of the other 2 smaller kitchens within the hostel.
Entry to the hostel is by way of magnetic key cards. Each guest receives a key that opens the front door and their room allowing for 24hr access with total security.
Security is further enhanced by a state of the art video system that covers the lifts and all exits as well as the fire escapes, common room and food storage areas.
The managers or their staff are on-site 24 hrs a day to handle inquiries in several languages.
