Alaskan Sojourn Hostel – Book your bed
Travellers talk, and the reputation of the Alaskn Sojourn is good and growing. You will feel right at home at this hostel. You are greeted when you arrive on the ferry or train by the courtesy shuttle.
There is one couples room in the 100 year old (well kept) house and bunks in the dorm which is a newly constructed and spotlessly clean building. The dorms are gender specific. The yard is like a park with BBQ's, fire pit, picnic tables and a great deck on the bunkhouse. Linen is included and there are always hot showers available.
You may also use the well organized kitchen and enjoy the warmth of the century old house. There is a wonderful sun porch with views of the mountains and glaciers, an inviting spot no matter what the weather is like.
Unlike many hostels there is no lockout during the day and no curfew at night. The hostel is out of the commercial section of Skagway in a quiet neighbourhood, but is close to local cafes, laundry, pubs and hiking trails.
The hostel has free internet via DSL, and on site phone.
